Claims to be good for 600bhp, and I would consider it as good as a hybrid/autobhan, but not a patch on something like a hyperflow which are considerably larger. It'll certainly be okay for my 18G build:thumb:

Just fitted mine today. Yes the bumper does get cut to bits. but i also found that i had to cut into the Fog light surrounds as well due to the pipes hitting them. All in all a very good fit indeed.

That's exactly what I found:(

Doesnt really bother me as they are covered plus im getting a full body kit fitted, so you wont be able to see it. Just one thing i will add make sure all the pipe work is well tight as mine came off on a trail run. Im still trying to work out what the spare parts are for. is the long bar with the half moon at the end.

That is a support for your cold air kit, reduce any rattle and offer a degree of protection for the MAF.

russelllinn 08 November 2010 03:29 PM

have I got til the end of the month to be able to get the funds together at the £199?

Hi Guys,

Thought this might be of interest to you guys...

Redline have just run a test on our New Age Front Mount Intercooler and there's a massive 14.6bhp increase without remapping!

Hang on without a remap ? so they are saying i can put this on my car without a remap and get 14hp more

jon when you fitted that was of for a remap after ?

JonMc 23 December 2010 10:58 AM

Yes mate, I did quite a few bits at the same time:thumb:

the bear1986 23 December 2010 08:50 PM

jon was this hard to fit as im really tempted to buy one for my bugeye sti. also where did you get the induction kit from?

JonMc 23 December 2010 08:52 PM

Took me about a day all in, but it was cold and wet and I did a couple of other bits at the same time - mainly hoses.

Induction kit is a GGR one, the same as the RCM ones. TBH it is quite big and is a squeeze in the space in the bonnet. If I had my time again I would get a narrower one to make it fit better.

Ed@Japspeed 24 December 2010 08:53 AM

Thanks for the photos :)

spikester 05 January 2011 10:55 PM

Hi,
Is this still on?? Looking at one for a 03 WRX

What induction kits are people using? Was looking at the Japspeed induction kit, looks a nice piece of kit, for a nice price, also its a cold air kit, fitting into the arch.
I think i would prefer a cold air induction kit as opposed to the one in the engine bay, I use my car on the track and would be concerned about heat.

Also, what dump valves are people using with these kits.

Thanks in advance.
