Ok guys i have rung DVLA today and the way it works is it costs £80 to transfer to another car, we would need to send both log books and mot certs for both cars along with a form that they are sending me. It takes about a week to swop over with new tax disc and about 4-5 weeks for a new log book to come through. Hope this answers any queries.
