APS Cold Air Induction Kit to suit the MY01 model onwards WRX
and STI. In red cackle finish with K+N filter. Approx 7500 miles use.
APS originally intended the High Flow Cold Air Intake system to be used in conjunction with correctly tuned engine management. As of June 2003 production, this product has been redesigned to work in harmony with the stock engine management. These updated units are distinguished with the numerals "65" cast into the inside diameter of the engine hose end.
Which this kit has.
Unfortunately this kit has lost some of its red cackle finish, where it has been passed through the inner wing. However this is to the rear underneath of the pipe and isn't visible when fitted.
I have been running this kit on my JDM STi and it has been excellent.
The induction noise is great and power is improved over the standard airbox.
I have had no MAF failures at all.
