Have a look at http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/used-prices/
Prices for a good P1 are unfortunately, a fair bit off what you are asking.

BUT the dealer asking price is about double the Parker valuation for a P1! Something wrong here with the valuation I think. Parker Value for 60,000 ml P1 about £7800, Dealer asking between £13950 and £15000 plus.

Agreed they do look v. low I'd probably have 2 at that price! Just pointing out that some people look at these things as well as seeing what the last few on here/ebay etc have gone for. Don't want to hijack the thread anyway.

From Wisebuyers:

Car valuation adjusted for 59,000 miles

Retail:£10,611
Private Good:£8,671
Private Average:£7,591
Private Poor:£6,271
Part Exchange:£8,131
Trade:£7,742

Still looks unrealistic, how many P1s do you see for £8k?

I think your price looks a good one to me, and the car looks top

The Parkers valuation of the P1 is a joke, please don't post that rubbish! Glasses/Parkers don't have a clue how to price these cars!

For f**k's sake, guys, do you have any idea how hard it is to sell a good used scooby, even without some smartar*e coming along on your thread and saying your car is overpriced?

There's always cheap ones around - some may have dodgy history, some that are simply in poor condition and some where the owner just needs to raise money quickly. A GOOD used scooby is hard to find but undeniably worth a premium.

If you think a car's too expensive - bearing in mind that you're in no position to judge this unless you've seen the car yourself AND any cheaper competition - then just don't buy it. It's that simple.

Agree with AndyC_772, should really be cleaned up by a mod this thread.

As said anyone really interested in buying a P1 will do their own reserach so no need for the spiteful hijacks.

Default P1

Think that the price is very reasonable,I will be asking more for my p1 when i put her up for sale in the new year,They do sell for good money just have to be patient wait and for the right person to come along, who appreciates a fine example when they see it.
