You know i love the rev's not because I'm biased.
I don't think they look great with the 45's on though just look really lost in the tyres for some reason.
Finally i hate to say it pal but i hate that scoop, i don't think it will look any better when it's painted either but it's your car and only my opinion drew.
Love everything else you've done so far with the car and cant help but think the scoop was another one of your crazy impulse buys lol.
Sorry for being negative drew.
Tim

Had an hour on the car this morning.
Front mount and all other bits completed so up and driving again now!...
Wrinkle finish refurb completed on get alternator case...
Then some black plasti dip on the gauge pod, before...
After...
Then fitted...
Couldn't resist trying the gauges in...
Gold revs have been sold now, as I just couldn't get on with the gold and they were too nice to refurb. Got some rota torques coming for now, but will probably end up on 18" gunmetal revs, which is what I planned from the start!

Not sure, all I know is what the previous owner was advised by chevron motorsport and Richard Henry motorsport I.e. car went in for a cambelt change but the discovered that the thrust bearing had minor play, why you ask?

Few more bits arrived this week...
I had been on the look out for a good quality hopefully track friendly back box to replace the current 5" ridiculous tailpipe that's currently on the car....Milltek with 4" tailpipe and 3" pipe work...
A set of four 90degree an-6 fuel rail fittings...
Huge ramair cone filter with 70mm alloy trumpet...
And another in cabin gauge because I love gadgets and anything LED ...
Plus after last weeks trip to Tim's aka tweaks developments as well as the rota alloys I came away with, he also lightened my wallet further with a walbro fuel pump...
Plus he very kindly threw in a replace my centre console trim as mine had been previously butchered and was a mess...
Oh and picked up the 5th injector for the ra manifold...

So whilst I was fitting the new centre console trim I decided to test install the led volt meter, not where I planned to install it but works quite well here and will be accompanied by an air inlet temp version later...
Then trail fitted the an6 elbow fittings to the ra reversed manifold...
Couldn't resist sitting it on the replacement sti8 motor to see how it looks!...

So, as you might have gathered I tend to change my mind a lot with how I want a car to look until I am 100% happy, today was no different with another "Minor" change of plans when this arrived at my house...
Yup another entire car, minus a few bits! It's another jdm wrx with one owner since imported 11 years ago and I have previously known the car as half the bits I bought for the silver car came from this as it was being broke at the beginning of this year! It's been sat since gathering grime and moss but is a very nice straight genuine shell with no rot in any of the usual places!
It came packed full of bits, so I've been busy sorting through them all, this is how it looked inside when it arrived ...
Got my hands full as you can see but my aim is to restore to it's former glory but a little bit better!

After a bit of graft, got most of the interior parts back together and all the bits out of it...
And the pile of parts!...
As I had previously bought the bootlid and spoiler, the bootlid had been sitting in my shed ever since so needed a good clean, if the test of the car comes up as nice as this I will be very happy!, before...
After...
Fitted...
Plus popped the bonnet and noticed another nice extra, Sti carbon strut brace!...
Also, has anyone seen these before? I haven't! Apparently they are genuine subaru factory optional extras for knee support!???...
