Hit a couple of snags today, injectors were fowling AVCS solenoids, solved by spinning injectors and machining some material off of caps.

Also pesky standard FPR is fowling on a plug, Richard from East Kent Subaru will be having a new piece welded in to extend the fuel line. This will be a temporary solution to get the car ready for mapping.

CDF billet fuel rails coming soon I guess.

After a little bit of electronic jiggey pokery by JGM, we got the car running today, and had a very basic map, after a few minor teething issues.

Even running actuator pressure, the car feels like its flying already. I can only imagine what this gonna feel like fully cranked up.

Roll on Wednesday.

Mapped today, had a couple of issues today, AVCS solenoid plug needs attention, so vvt has been turned off for now, also it seems like the 15 year old stock fuel pressure regulator isn't quite up to the job.

Still managed 430 BHP though, and the car feels absolutely mental.

On with the next batch of mods...

CDF billet fuel rails
AN6 fittings,
Braided parallel fuel lines
Adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

Then some more mapping.

Hopefully should be fitting my replacement SWRD fuel pump, (as its looking very likely the existing one is failing) Hence the injectors maxing out at 430 BHP (900cc) new fuel rails and Fuelab FPR on route also.

I have ready to fit

Whiteline 24mm rear ARB + bushes
Solid rear drop links
Ally wishbones
Whiteline ALK
Whiteline lock out bolts

Refurbed inlet manifold
CDF racing billet fuel rail kit
Fuelab FPR
Loads of braided hose and AN fittings.

DEFI rev counter with shift light thingy.

Genuine BMW E46 lip spoiler.
ABW extended arches.

My seats should be arriving by Xmas to, so should be able to get those fitted up to.

Gonna be a busy boy.

Have u ever thought of a Ducktail bootlid? I've seen them on the newages but never on a classic, would probably suit ur build of discreet/beast

I really liked (and wanted) a do-luk ducktail, but they only do a newage fitment. The ones that are available in classic fitment are not to my taste.

BTW the cars going in the printshop over The new Year, and its certainly not gong to be discreet after that.

Could get a custom fitted one but would probably cost quite a few £££'s. Good luck with your project and i'll be interested to see the additions you make in the new year
