I might actualy get something on my car done now as Graham said above time is running out but you have to earn the money before you spend it so I might be leaving it late but I'm doing it in the right order.

Going to try and fit the bootld and lights today if I don't get frost bite that is.

last day on this one monday wooho been a hard ass month

Looking great Rob.
Best bring some 20Kg weights to hold it down over night at Loton!

Madgord: we will all be at Loton Park (I hope), testing those demon tweeks.

I wanted to but having never driven my car with the new spec and never having driven Harewood I didn't think it was an ideal combination, the distance didn't help either. I will be at sunny Curborough that day, just up the road and know it like the back of my hand, only £55 in as well.

If you do have a bumper let me know I have cash waiting.

Rob.

Shenstone test day on the 30th, not relishing it but its cheap time in the seat and will be a good opportunity to re-test with feedback from loton the week previous.

Is that more or less than last year Paul?
Crunch might come if 'pro drivers' turn up in the next class 'down'

That list is larger than the total entry list for a national hillclimb at some venues.
Getting popular. Steeeeep learning curve Pete.
Hillclimbs will feel like a treasure hunt in comparison!

Dash is back in and everything reconnected which can be without the engine in. All the redundant wiring will be gone but my auto electrician mate doesn't want to start tearing the loom apart until the car is running and has power.

This is all the interior i intend to put back in, I originaly intended to have the entire centre console and dash but my obsession with weight saving has reduced it to this allowing me to do away with a lot of brackets etc. and as a result another decent weight save.

I also fitted this, omp adjustable boss extenstion to bring the steering wheel closer to me as I felt I was at a stretch and as a result had less control in some of the really tight corners.

Whilst there is plenty to do from an asthetic point of view it's pretty much ready to go to Zen now for the new engine etc.

You should be ok for Loton incidentally.

Pete's experiencing the joys of sponsorship Wadsy, you just have to nearly kill yourself every run to get the times to get the recognition to get the trophies to get the sponsorship, simple!

Paddy from Home - Emerald Detailing has been busy restoring the paint on my car tonight the transformation is amazing, seems a shame as the zen lot will be getting their oily fingers on it tomorrow then I will be driving it into cones, armcos and grass banks after that.

Took the car up to Zen yesterday to get the new engine and other mods, the race to get to the races has started and only 3 weeks until I'm first out at Loton park on the 22nd of March, I hope to get up there as often as possible to do some further weight saving myself in a proper workshop enviroment and help in anyway I can even if it's just making the cups of tea.

I'll post pics of the progress soon.

I can't wait to get behind the wheel again!

Know how you feel!

Have the fresh soft Kumhos on the 911, the fresh soft pads too and the Impreza race seat down tight.

Fresh tax disc and so onto the open road this morning in the sun and dry roads, what a treat.

Rather slower than the Impreza.....but just great to drive.

Now, can I get into the 62's this year! Enthusiasm returning at last.

Good luck with it Rob!

Put the stock drivers seat into the Impreza, and sure feels wierd sitting so high in the car with zero lateral support after 5 years in a real seat.
