Thanks mate, that's a good time for a road mod car! There is plenty more time left out there for me, box will be fixed after Zen get back from Knockhill and I can finish a run without missing gears.
Keith Edwards in the Red SWB Quattro (pictured on previous page) who I race with regularly down here is a good yardstick as to what times I should be looking to do eventually. Last season we were within a few tenths of each other at Loton, Shelsley & Prescott sometimes me quicker sometimes him and he has done a 60.00 at Harewood.
I have entered the event on July5/6th at Harewood so hope to go a lot quicker!

Good to see you're starting to get to grips with it Rob. Looking forward to seeing how you'll do on Epynt, are the brakes sorted for big stops?

The brakes are really bedded in now and very impressive, can haul me down pretty sharpish, is there a course map on the net for epynt?

I can't do scooby shootout as my car is not road legal at the moment.
33.81 is very quick mate, your only 0.18 seconds off Roy Standley's mod prod record!
I do run the ALK, infact I run whiteline everything. I found a stronger rear anti roll bar and proper sprint/hillclimb geometry got the best results for a reduction in understeer. You will always get understeer on 1A rubber when pushing a 4wd hard, you can only try and balance it with a more tail happy set up, oversteer is a lot faster than speed sapping understeer.
Never been to Aintree, but well done on the record mate.

Today was the first time I really enjoyed driving the car with the new spec, some buggeration with my driving position and a few other tweeks and it felt really good to drive and I finaly felt at home driving it.
A couple of weeks off now till the big national meet at Shelsly on the 1st June and I have some plans for tidying up the car as it's a bit of a nail at the moment and hopefuly I can it up to Zen to sort my dicky 3rd gear issues.
A note to anyone thinking of stripping their car like I have.........don't remove your door rubbers, I now have a goldfish in my car for company.

What are door rubbers
Well done Rob.
