not too keen on the spoiler, but it's different which is a good thing usually in the impreza world as there are too many that look the same.

I don't know though.
This is a race car, so it might actually have to do something where i think the Subaru one is just bling?
This will be a wicked car when sitting 75mm off the ground!

Were hoping the wing will create a bit of downforce at the rear+ we have got a carbon rear deffuser with full underpanels, front splitter and cannards to help the thing planted! Running a similar setup on our wrx demo car and it did genuinely make a difference on that

Always interesting to see Andy F running 200 mph+ with no spoilers at all.
But he also walks on water!

Great car this.

True, but that's just in a straight line though Graham...

Imagine trying to go round somewhere like Copse at speed with no spoiler...

As said before, this thing will look awesome when it's sat on it wheels...

As soon as our Powerflex bushes turn up we can get the subframes and suspension on, then give the wheels a moch up...there sitting on pirelli wrc tarmac sticks at present, no good for TA but should be fun for testing

Looks awesome!

I do hope that A: the overall project is completed quicker and B: the thread is updated more often than Scoobyclinics 22B wagon thread.

Its nice to see something new and fresh. I look forward to seeing it in finished competing form.

Trust me, James is doing the best job he can but is pretty busy with customers cars, such as mine! .

I have seen this project in the flesh a couple of times and have seen it in it's current form and it does look very, very promising. James has a, for want of a better word, real tenacity to make things better and go faster but not at the expense of the engine etc that is very refreshing for me as a new customer of his. I got so fed up of always being told no, don't do this, don't do that, not interested, why would you want to go faster, there's no way you can do anything without it all blowing up, etc etc.

Anyway, good luck James, but I reckon with your attention to detail and ever-increasing knowledge you will go far .

Hmm, that all sounds like a bit of a thread diversion, back on topic: Looking forward to seeing the finished beast mate .

Yes we can main restriction on time is if you want an SMG engine like ours as Steve builds the complete engines himself and there is only so many hours in a day!

Were trying our best, but like Nick said were pretty busy with customers cars and theres a lot of custom bits weve had to source/make eg having to have custom brackets and bells made up for our AP water cooled WRC brake callipers..... none of this stuff takes 5 minutes to do

Only kidding you.
I've built hotrods and custom cars before the 911 and my race Impreza, and FULLY understand the difficulties, just great to see a car like yours coming together, and I bet I speak for many watching!

We are all green with envy really.

Not a Chargespeed kit. Wings and Bumpers are APR while the Doors are made bespoke.
