Yeah mate got one today same as yours GT3582R with 0.63 housing.
Filter wise I'm doing exactly the same as I did with the GT30 a large K&N in the engine bay.
It will be in the same place as it was on my white one except without the MAF Tube.

On driving mine today I think the .63 housing is the better choice as I don't think I would like the lag of the .82 housing

That's exactly what I thought. I can always buy a housing at a later date if need be.

LOL I've had similar comments elsewhere. That's my recycling pile at the side of the sink. They get rinced and put in the appropiate bin There's a couple of days worth there

I don't know if it will make a difference but wouldn't the anti surge housing of been a better choice ??
This is when I had the gt3076 but the inlet is exactly the same as my gt35

Anxiety, jubilation, dissappointment.
Fitted the turbo, down pipe and wastegate today.
Filled with fluids, jerry can of fuel and then it was time to build oil pressure. Plugs out, cam/crank sensors disconnected I cranked it 20/30 times.
Plugs in, sensors on, she fired first turn of the key!!!!!
Now the bad news. After I turned it off it wouldnt start again. However, I'm thankful for that though as I discovered a massive puddle of oil after cranking it to try and restart it.
I hadn't nipped up the turbo oil feed banjo properly. Flat battery now too so will charge it overnight, fill it with oil tomorrow and see what happens tomorrow.

Just the outside Steve. Going to do inside and engine bay myself as they are less critical.
It's been a complete ballache if I am honest but I've never been happy with it from day one. Finally I am, There's not one single area I can criticise and if you knew how pedantic I am that's really saying something.
I feel that I can finally start to make some real headway with it.
I was all ready for just getting rid of the whole bloody car a couple of weeks ago but I have my enthusiasm for it back. Which of course, when the car has been off the road for 18 months is a big part of things.

When your car is off the road forever due to big power I think everone goes thru the "I'm sick and want rid of this " feeling
I know I have plenty of times

I've assembled the front end tonight. Now I'm actually quite liking the purple engine bay and am considering keeping it.
Although If I do I'm going to do the inlet manifold white, the strut brace ends white and change the blue hoses for purple ones.
Then to finish it off I'll do the wheels white but keep the purple lip.

Looking smart Daz, but paint the bay and maybe leave the purple inlet manifold etc.
