Will be great to see.
Even though he is a bit monotone and boring inF1. Maybe in the WRC, we will see the lighter side of him.
Good luck to him

Read about this on wrc earlier.

It can only be good news IMHO!

Kaj Lindstrom said of Kimi after doing their first test together (last year or whenever it was) that Kimi was one of the most naturally quick drivers he'd ever sat besides - that and the fact that he was actually fearless makes me very excited about Kimi's future in rallying!! I just hope he takes up Malcolm Wislon's offer of a seat in a Focus WRC (or maybe it'll be a Fiesta by the time Kimi leaves F1?), i really would love to see that happen.

Hmmmm, sorry but I dont rate the guy. Thinks too much of himself, and I think he;d be made to look a little stupid by the WRC boys. We'll see...

I share the same opinions.... and as shown this year, he seems to get a sulk on when things don't go too well either

He's even worse in rallying, he wants even less interaction with the media and fans as rallying is his "fun". Surely if your rich enough to casually fund a private entry on a WRC round you can say hi to some fans!

The last rally he did MN tried to track him down and were told where to go! Don't matter though - it'll only end up in the trees!

I love Kimi's unashamed arrogance - at least he doesn't pretend to be one thing in front of a camera and another away from them, like most the WRC top boys.

True. The only thing I've ever found of Kimi was Schuey's final year when he was being given some presentation (cant remember the race) before the start of a GP and Brundle grabbed Kimi and asked if he saw it.... he response was something along the lines of -
No I was having a s**t..... Class act! LOL!

Oh how i loved that! I can't believe that had escaped my memory til you just reminded me! thanks Jon!

My opinion of Kimi has changed completely this year. I never used to like him at all, in fact i loathed him while he was at McLaren. I never really warmed to him when he joined Ferrari (despite me being a Ferrari fanboy - anyone who doesn't believe me, ask Jon P; he's seen me wearing my Ferrari jacket lol), but my opinion changed and i grew to like, even admire him, when i read a bit about his background and the way he loves his private life. He's an adrenalin junky who loves life and partying. He doesn't like the glamour of F1 much which seems a bit odd tbh, but he loves what he does and i think he does it brilliantly, and that for me counts for a hell of a lot

Totaly agree, there is something about him this year. How many drivers mill around in the pits, in shorts sucking on a lollie. Think the guy is great.

Nope, dont agree folks. He's got a personality of a wet teabag. Never been much of a follower of him, doubt I ever will. Just one of those things...
