Default Sunseeker Rally

Less than 3 weeks away and it's the opening round of the BRC.

Anyone from here going? We will be doing nasty marshall stuff again but as yet, don't know at which stage.

Depends on the entry for me ... not sure what numbers would make the trip down worth it

I'm marshalling on Uddens again. A late start this year. Time for you all to have a nice breakfast.

Done and dusted.
We ended up at Jnc 16 on Somerley Park SS5 & 9, having asked the boss bloke at signing on if we could be as far away as possible from the PA. It was a hairpin with a long view of the approach and departure. A cracking spot. We had about 20 speccies who were all well behaved (or frightened!). Fantastic weather, egg and bacon rolls for breakie, hot dogs for lunch and a steady stream of coffee (from a cafetiere, of course) and tea all day.

Oh, BTW as for the rally, IMHO the BRC is a shadow of its former self in the days of 4WD, Jonny Milner, Miggens, Diggens, Gwyndaf etc etc. I know it is on a cost saving mission but it aint the same.

Ahh, the good old days, small boys in the park, jumpers for goal posts

We had a very quiet day in Uddens, it did seem rather restrained. Day off today to view the video footage. My digicam battery ran out just as the national was starting. Bugger.
