Hi Martin
Thanks for the offer I wouldn't recommend a cuddle at the moment as most parts of his body would leave some sort of greenish stain....LOL
Just a bit miffed as I wanted another RR figure apart from Well Lane and something to offer as a baseline for the upcoming Aquamist / re-map
Have a great day
Shaun

Departure Scotch Corner is 07:10 as already agreed in the thread earlier and as I told you earlier today/yesterday Chris.
I will be ahead of you to help get set up.
Shaun : Sorry to hear you are not running. Give me a ring anyway, Sunday whenever if you still want a chat which could be interesting.
Hi Chris : Don't know if you will see this and sorry for the late response. A couple of unexpected occurrences needed my atention tonight so I am 4 hours behind schedule.
You are most welcome to take Shaun's place. You can deal with his deposit with him direct and just pay the balance like everybody else. I don't need anything from you other than your presence mate.
See me in the morning and we will ammend Shauns sheet for you and get your spec which can be copied to the Freelance Badger Journo
Look forward to seeing you guys in 6 hours or whatever.
Now to feed the dog and get some shut eye.
Has the makings of a good and interesting day and no snow forecast.

A big THANKS to all on the organising side of things - twas a great day out
The snippets of free advice were worth more than the cost of the run.
Only downside was I've now got to get a bigger Turbo, full remap, different headers, spend, spend, spend ......................
Oh, and after informing Mrs Towers of the above, she has now banned me from all rolling road events

Thank you guys for your comments at the event, by phone, e-mail, text and above. It has certainly proved to be a very popular event and the information provided or available from Steve Simpson, if you asked for it was very extensive and far more detailed, in depth than at any other rolling road day I have attended.
This is the first rolling road day I have organised and it all went smoothly with everyone helping each other. The banter was good too.
In no particular order I would like to thank Martin Ninnybobs for his help generally, Jonny Gav for marshalling the cars which was a big help, Paul Stabler working on the tie down and coupling up the sensors, Mal for stepping in as a scribe and money collector . Steve Simpson did not stop all day other than a 20 minute break and we are indebted to him and his helpers. Thanks Ian. We were made welcome by the TEG staff.
Simon Cooke (Freelance Badger Journo) gave a big thank you for everyone's cooperation before he left and he felt the organisation had been slick.
I would like to think there was a lot of useful information for those that wanted it and as rolling road days go it represented real value for money with the professional approach from Steve Simpson who went to lengths to pass on information to owners as to the operation of their vehicles.
Alan (S) I will post your graphs Monday or I can scan it to you tomorrow. What do you think?
Please give me an address and phone me Wednesday PM to confirm our arrangement.
Martin Ninnybobs : I have ended up with one of your sheets and will post Monday too unless you want me to scan it to you tomorrow.
1. Martin Ninnybobs 357.6 bhp 340 ft.lbs 01 WRX Detting since last service. Nice flat torque curve.
2. Alan Smith 303 bhp 280 ft.lbs 02 WRX Very safe map, fuel is good, down on torque and there is probably a bit more to come from ignition advance in the map.
3. Killa / Ali 249.7 bhp 255 ft.lbs 02 WRX Check engine light on permanently VERY VERY rich 10.5:1. Odd boost curve. Needs an Ecutek remap, Apexi Power FC or whatever.
4. Chris Towers 249.3 bhp 253 ft.lbs 99 UK 2000 VERY VERY rich 10.0:1. Should be 11.3/11.4 . Probably suffering bore wash. Will benefit from remap and has definate 280 bhp potential.
5. Phil Pearce 240.2 bhp 230 ft.lbs Toyota Celica GT4 Fresh import from Japan unmodded. A little rich a the top end but nothing wrong with this car. A cold air divider would help the cone filter.
6. Malcolm Short 173 bhp 180 ft.lbs Yellow 96 Subaru SVX. (Only one in the Country). Naturally aspirated running 12.0:1 AFR. Will develop loads more power at 13:1 AFR. (Autobox)
7. Stephen Bowker * 2 runs : Petrol & gas. On Petrol 204.7 bhp 225 ft.lbs Legacy B4 RSK Only running .7 bar so a lot of potential.
8. Stephen Bowker on Gas 201.5 bhp Misfire on gas. There is a very noticable dip which is common on these cars during the transition from the low speed to the high speed second turbo.
9. Phil Atkinson 243.4 bhp 242 ft.lbs RB5 Running 1 bar, torque a little low. Change restrictor and a little more boost will give a good bit more. Running a bit rich. Bit more to come out of this nice car.
10. Micky Wardle 236.7 bhp 230 ft.lbs 94 WRX Hitting boost cut at 1.1 bar 10:1 AFR needs sorting. On standard ECU.
11. Leon Poole : ENGINE ISSUE - NON RUNNER. Good luck with the repair.
12. Chris Algie 294.6 bhp 240 ft.lbs @ 6300 rpm. Needs a mappable ECU.
13. Stew Laker 265.9 bhp 260 ft.lbs STi Type R ver 5 Running 1.3 bar AFR dropped off the scale at 10:1. Seriously needs remapping.
14. Jonny Gav 289.3 bhp 235 ft.lbs 98 ver 4 Type R VERY dangerously weak. Suspect fuel pump or perhaps MAF. This was an initial run to obtain base figures prior to extensive modification.
15. Steve Carr 318 bhp 308 ft.lbs 97 UK turbo running 1.55 bar. Rich mid range but OK at the top. Fit motor.
16. Scooby Moz 264 bhp 252 ft.lbs 99 UK Wagon Running 1.2 bar. Tad rich but not serious and reasonable figures for this boost and mods.
17. Kevin Connaughton 311 bhp 280 ft.lbs WRX (Formerly Rich Wild's) Running 1.4 bar. Detting at the top which needs serious investigation. AFR seems OK.
18. Andy Kinden 292 bhp 278 ft.lbs MY 98 STi Type R Very good result for almost standard car on Harvey headers. Lots of potential.
19. Ryan Craggs 278 bhp 270 ft.lbs 93 WRX running 1.15 bar VERY VERY rich AFR dropped off the scale at 10.0:1 and needs immediate attention.
20. Dion Arbid 335 bhp 400 ft.lbs UK MY 2000 with 2.5 litre engine. Running 1.8 peak dropping to 1.6 bar. Needs a remap.
21. Paul Stabler 236 bhp 225 ft.lbs 94 WRX. Near standard with 6 speed box. .82 bar of boost AFR dropped off the scale, too rich but still on standard ECU. This car feels far faster on the road than the figures indicate.
22. Craig Ramshaw No Show.
23. Graeme Robertson 360 bhp 315 ft.lbs 95 WRX (ex Jonny Gav) running 1.5 bar. Could be weaker at the top end although fuelling is generally fine. Flames from front pipes / headers !!!!!
24. Harvey Smith 375 bhp 350 ft.lbs 95 WRX Wagon running 1.5 bar max. Slightly rich. (6 weeks ago on the same rollers this car did 384.6 bhp/355 ft.lbs and todays target was 390/355.) Will add 20 bhp in a couple of weeks
25. Mark Shield 343 bhp 352 ft.lbs 94 WRX Twin scroll turbo. 1.6 bar reducing to 1.2 bar, fuel = 11.5 :1 Good power for boost figure (Mark's comment, "not as much as I have had on these rollers before")
26. Chris Wood 236.4 bhp 278 ft.lbs VW Polo RS with Audi TT 1.8 turbo engine and Superchip. This car is running dangerously lean and needs immediate attention before running on boost.
I have provisionally arranged 8th April for the next rolling road day at TEG Sport and will post details in a fortnights time.
Regards,
Harvey.
