SSO1 was in September 2003 - Won by Harvey Smith, Runner up Me
SSO2 was in May 2004 - Won by CRD, Runner up Paul Copeland (IIRC)
SSO3 was in May 2005 - Won by Me, Runner up Paul Blamire
SSO4 is in May 2006 - ????????
What makes it confusing, is the magazines etc referred to the ones in 2004 and 2005 as SSO1 and SSO2, which IMO was wrong.
Dave Peck and myself came up with the idea of Scooby Shoot Out, and organised it with the help of Chris Mann (TOTB) for September 2003. It's mushroomed from there really, to the point of Scoobynet now backing it, which feels weird to me, as they wouldnt in the past.
Should be a very good day out for all.

IMHO - Andy, if its back together by then, which it should be.

But as you well know, the fastest car doesn't always win

altho there have been faster 1/4m runs at elvington, i thought last years sso drag final was the best head to head i've seen for a long time. people dont always realise the pressure on someone trying to launch on a head to head eliminator in front of a crowd like that.
