Default knocking sound from rear shocks after fitting springs

hi all, just fitted some 40mm apex springs to my 2004 blob wrx , when i drove it after i installed them i noticed a knocking sound mainly from the left passenger side of the car even over going over a small bump, its fine on flat level road, the right side does this also but only after going over a steeper bump.

ive checked all the bolts and top mounts ect and all are fine , took a torch and looked into the arch and the spring is fully seated on the mounts and they dont move or anything when the car is raised.

ive read about the dreaded knocking sound from the rear shocks on newage scoobs, is that what i have as ive changed to a lower spring? it was fine on the standard springs , do i need to take apart the shocks and grease them up ?

any help would be much appreciated

Odd, I get a very similar noise too. Even oddlier its from the same places. Only happens when I go very slowly, pull away and turn tightly.
