Default Few Scooby issues I need help with...

Few issues I need to diagnose on a 2003 WRX wagon....having just done a 2k road trip around Scotland the scoobs is making a few unusual sounds etc...please help:

1) when travelling very slowly or stationary, on turning the wheel on full lock there's a juddering through the steering. I also get a vibration through the steering above 90mph....any ideas?

2) on hard throttle past 3k rpm there is a metallic rattle coming from the drivers side engine bay...is this the heat shield? Feels secure to the touch.

3) getting rear suspension knock (to be expected on a 110k car), what suspension would you suggest to upgrade to. I don't mind something a bit more fast road focused but don't want bone crunching.

Thanks guys, here's a pic of the car in Scotland

Check your power steering fluid level and belt tension for starters. High speed vibration could just be wheel imbalance. You were on a private road when you made 90, weren't you?

Most likely heat shield, but check all over the exhaust for loose parts.

3) getting rear suspension knock (to be expected on a 110k car), what suspension would you suggest to upgrade to. I don't mind something a bit more fast road focused but don't want bone crunching.

Stick with standard replacements unless you're going on track.

All common problems, juddering is most likely power steering belt, the rattle will most likely be heat shields and lastly rear knocking suspension is very common.

Yes, a very private road! Lol.

Funnily enough there is a load squeak/whine on start up and when I turn the wheel on full lock which goes away after 4 minutes or so....someone else said it might be the power steering pump.

Where are the belt tensioner sect so I can check them?
