WRX type RA v-limited 2 door
I bought one of these about a week ago and just wondered if anyone else had one on here as i know they are very rare

that will be the sonic blue 1998 2 door type RA
very nice car basically a type R but not. o.60 in 4.2s the closest of the clsoe ratio gearboxes.depends on final drive for top end prob 130mph

Are you absolutely sure it was a type ra. Was it mentioned in the service book or the logbook etc? Maybe the previous owner damaged the tailgate and fitted one from a type ra. Or just slapped a sticker on it...

IIRC There was a thread on here a few years back that busted the two door Type RA thing, something to do with chassis numbers if i remember correctly.
I can't be ar$ed to search for it, even someone from Subaru in Japan confirmed it by email.

I've just had a quick look for that thread where it was confirmed by Subaru in Japan by email that there isn't a two door Type RA and can't find it, it has something to do with the chassis numbers being very similar that causes all the confusion between the two of them.
I did find this one post from the OP of this very thread which says what I'm saying though, I'm guessing he dug a little deeper to get the info. Note the thread below is a year later than this one we are using now.
