Testing the Murtaya
Been out today with the chaps from Adrenaline testing the new Murtaya rally car. It's now on a Simtek ECU and performing faultlessly. We went to Smeatharpe near Honiton, and the car was being shaken down by Steve Simpson and Mike Tregonning, both well known national competitors. The anti lag and launch control was getting a good going over, and gave us some earache!
It's now being prepped for the Tour of Cornwall, the first event for the new car, at least we don't have to worry about the management!

That's the one, looks really cool now it's fully signwritten, very purposeful!
The good news is the way the Simtek gives us all the control we had with the previous ECU system and more, plus easy starting and smooth running.
As to Top Gear, yes please!

the only thing i dont like about this, that i dont like about all kit cars really, is that it looks more like a kitcar and less like a mainstream lightweight kitcar like an exige. Does that make sense?
