I've got an 02 sti type Uk and it has a speed limiter to limit top speed to 156mph ! It just cuts out when you reach it !

Think it would be more like 150mph. The speedo doesn't read your true speed. 160mph on your speedo would be actual 145mph.

BMW m3 are limited to 155mph and I saw one on u tube hit it's limiter about 172mph speedo but it is actually only 155mph real speed.

its 159 mph but the speedo will go past a little till the cut out kicks in, my speedo reeds 5mph faster than ime actually going.
