sorry to here this mate. same thing happened to me about a week ago. someone broke into me house with me and the pregnant misses upstairs, however my dogs (lasarapso and staff) got him with me finishing off with a frying pan.
where you selling stuff on here before it happened? i only ask cos i have been and the police seem to think it was this that gave them cause to target me. even tho my car has been off the road for nearly a year while building and not at my house. im never leaving my keys on the key rail again.
i hope they find the low life! and i hope you get less grief than i have.

thievin scum... we work hard for our cars, why do they make em so easy to steal even wiv keys fobs ect.. they should invent a system that only knows the owner or peop allowed access .. prob being used for somethin dodgy where i live in cheltenham they use the wagons for rippin out cash machines then they stick it in the back and tear off .. i have a disc lock on mine wiv key seperate to car keys ... but hey why should we ?? hope u find it or the scum who did it. They need dragging round on a tow bar on a track day for everyone to watch em get ripped apart .bit harsh but hey they would learn .

It's a matter of then visiting the scene, seizing forensic evidence, taking statements, house to house enquiries.
To the original poster. Sorry to hear of your plight. At least you and the family are safe. Hope things turn out okay.

Really constructive post that.............If the car has been stolen, it is unlikely that it will be on the driveway or at the place it was stolen from. Hence the police don't rush around to look at the empty space where the car was, it's productive to circulate it via radio /PNC and visit locations where stolen cars are often parked up, the thief wanting to know if its fitted with a Tracker.

sorry to hear about this mate, glad you are all ok. it happened to us a couple of months back. luckily i was getting ready for work at 0445 when our dog went nuts. the scum had pulled the patio doors off the frame and were virtually in the house as i ran downstairs. they never got the car, but the cost of fixing the damage to the doors £100, upgrading house alarm inc. front + back trip lights +sensors £400, and also installed clifford 650 mk2 inc blakjaxx £450 it still kinda pisses me off. main thing though is you and family are safe, but would recommend the blakjaxx for next time for that peace of mind. nevertheless, will keep an eye out for you up my way, you never know. Lee.

The insurance industry must rely on us being victims of theft / damage only at the weekends....All that can be done sounds to have been done. Hope you get things sorted Monday. Bob
