Well, bought a set of rims off the bay - 4 off Speedline 2108 - proper old school style rim in my book. They were on the original paint and totally shot. Horrendous bubbling between spokes, round the centre caps and the inner faces.
Having read many posts about speedline gold i set about speaking to speedline, Akzo Nobel and my favourite wheel refurbers - The Wheel Specialists.
Anyway, got them done and i am over the moon. Flawless finish as usual and colour is spot on too. Look great on my classic and saved a fortune as well. I was so pleased i bought a set of Goodyear F1 GSD 3's to wrap around them.
So, big thanks to The Wheel Specialists - saved me a fortune I can highly recommend these guys for a perfect job and rapid turn around.
as for cost, then you will have to contact them and ask how much as the price varies inline with size and type (ie split rim etc)
We get a trade reduction on cost as i put them through the business but dont quote me but i think they would have been 240 for the four. fitted and balanced and new valves.
I would gues if there was enough of you and someone could be arsed organising something i am sure they would do a group buy..
