Subaru only sold 329 subarus in the uk in 2011 ?? dont know what I expected it would be but kinda amazed at just how low this figure is !! how many is that per garage - not many ??
Its true though, you can see the ammount of cars sold if you look at the new registrations, shows you by manufacturer how many cars they sold, a little scary but IM seem to have killed Subaru off in the UK
1187 in 2010
329 in 2011
??? in 2012 ( less than 200 ?? )
with the prices off the latest new scoobies, there road tax banding and the ever rising cost off insurance / petrol would well imagine I would not be far off with this figure ??
I can honestly say i have not seen one new shape Impreza in STI or WRX guise on the road. Not one. Come to think of it I dont think I have seen any normo's either.

You dont see many scoobs on the road nowerdays, not like the mid 2000's where you saw 3-4 on a run, seeing one now is rare, not many people can afford to run them really.

I see plenty around the southampton area, newage and classics.
ok read it in autocar,SMMT uk sales data, these are just impreza sales.the only cars suffering a bigger drop in sales were citroens c crosser and C6.
I've had a Citroen C6, absolutely stunning.
We had a Subaru dealer here in my town. It opened in 2010 and closed late 2011. Apparently they didn't sell one car in 2011. It's now a Hyundai dealer I think.

have you seen how many get broken for spares? dropping like flies
Yes very rare site the new STi apart from our club members incumbria
Petrol and £440 tax is the killer and of course £34k
Before they discontinued the wrxd it rose to a whopping 25.5 k on the road
I don't regret buying mine as I keep my cars for years but not value for money compared to other rivals on the market
The BRZ will make or break it for Subaru but as its similar apart from badges to the Toyota gt86 it will be intersting how they price it but intersting if you can get one from Australia cheaper
Ugly with an ugly price tag to match and a propensity for the top of the range model to detonate its engine is not exactly the recipe for sales success in a recession.

They need to get back rallying again and get a folowing of peeps for the new car. Get back to what made the car fab in the first place :-) they would sell more then im quite sure

Why rallying - sure that's boring as hell now and has hardly any coverage.
If you go to a decent rally, you will see plenty of Subaru's - including the Hatch shape.
