i have some sort of hybrid on mine, do they make the vortex afterburner extreme in 2.5 inch bore, i have a race tube but it has the vortex tip on the end exactly the same as an afterburner, i thought it was an extreme, but its 2.5 bore? unless its a hayward and scott/vortex custom, non the less, it IS extreme. lol!
yer, mate lovely sound, very very loud though, pops bangs, explodes the normal ya know haha! would recommend one, i got mine for £50 quid! i thought it was a vortex extreme but thought they didnt make it in 2.5"! good news to me! and as far as i know there pretty rare too!

Hi mate it was not called the vortex, its title was afterburner extreme, and it was simply a straight through pipe with no baffles whatsoever ,it was available in 2.5' or 3'

Ah cool I had a cobra racetube and now a normal vortex which is all you need tbh. Racetube was great for the ESC Tunnel Run but you are on constant watch for noise police

Same here. I was running a de-resonated Race-Tube catback and it was just too much on the motorway. Even with a standard downpipe it was 85-90dB inside the car My baby boys hearing is worth more than impressing some chavs with the most ridiculous exhaust available on the market.
