Flame suit on but none of them are lookers!! If you ask what Subaru is famous for it`s not beautiful cars. Early ones best of a bad bunch. Every time I look at my blob I think " You are like an English Bull Terrier, ugly as #### but I love you"

I think the Blobeye is the most complete and unique STI shape.

IMHO, even though the Hawkeye has a striking front end, it is trying to make the Impreza something its not. A front end like that belongs to a BMW or a Mercedes, not a rough and ready STI.

Have to agree with the o/p Black Blob by far the best looking, thats why i have one and seeing one in a showroom that had just been prepped i was like wow, and could not get it out of my mind on the drive home after i had done a deal on another car.

So i called the salesman and told him to scratch the other car, i'll have the black impreza, and it was 5k cheaper

That was a saloon, i now have a black wagon, best looking, best colour and most practical.

I like my type r, but really not a fan of the 22b blown arches, just look wrong in the flesh, and obviously an afterthought.IMO

classic all the way for me, it's the shape of wrc car I first saw and grew up with and fell I love with it.

as for colour I suppose sonic blue/gold wheels would be the de facto choice (due to them being them associated with the wrc cars) but as I own a rb5 so yes I'm going to be a bit biased and say 86f as its a less common colour and looks stunning.

the bug is the ugly rebound car that Subaru went with after breaking up with the classic, and while the later models have looked better over the years, the classic is still the best looking IMO

I dont really think any of the new age cars look as good as a sorted classic.
Bug is awful blob and hawk are better hatch epic fail and new saloon is gettin there.

I still reckon the classic shape was the best looking Impreza. Not a pretty car, but just looked entirely fit for purpose and not as "tarty" as some of the other rice rockets!

It's followed by the hawkeye. Here's mine (any excuse) lol

You are so spot on with that comment its true it looks like its off a diffrent car. Hawkeyes look lush from the front but any other angle its like hang on thats a scobby.

you are aware the hawk sti and blob sti are identical from the rear as its the same shell.

only difference is the hawk has different rear lights and additional upper roof spoiler.

Yes very aware that all new ages and there backsides are all the same here and there. the point was about the front and to me a hawks front does'nt go with the rest of the car. Blob is the best of bug and the best of hawk lol the blob works best from more angles.
