Strange that its better under a stock filter, but I guess that maybe it's because the the fuel map on yours is a little more aggressive as it's a prodrive (?), without it being monitored whilst driving, it's difficult to say with any accuracy why it's no better. The K&N certainly made my Type UK more responsive, it pulls a lot harder than on a paper filter!

As for ECU resets, IIRC, newage have to be plugged in to be reset. I think it's only the classics that you can "battery off" to reset them.
