Default suede steering wheel-pros & cons?

I fancy a suede mono mod 08 steering wheel, what's the pros & cons of the suede material?
Should you use gloves whilst driving to limit the wear?

Leather is more durable yes, but suede to me has the more racey feel.

And info and pics always appreciated.

WorksBell hub would be on the list also, don't want qr either.
Found company called playskool stock both.

Buy suade and after constant use it will turn back to leather after a while, suade is a lovely fabric when new but any oil off of your hands dirt etc.will ruin the finish the only way to keep it looking good for long is to wear gloves.SJ.

The suade wheels are lovely, I had a nardi one on my classic. After a while they do look like the suade is rubbing off ( dirt etc on your hands ) but when this happens just whip the wheel off and give it a damb good scrub in hot soapy water. They come up like new.....
