It's got a cosworth engine and R&D 6-speed dog box along with a huge list spec list which is everyone's wish list . It's running 670 bhp . At a recent Ford meet it ran 0-60 in 3.06 secs, 0-100 in 6.34 secs, 1/4 mile in 10.78 secs @ 134.55 mph and top speed on that day that it achieved was 154.56 mph .
Cheers Paul.

Think his old focus cracked 200mph with a different gearbox. Might have been his escort actually. They've all had the same 650-670bhp engine in. When he was trying for a high speed run record he was a few mph short, and IIRC the next time he tried he brought a home made spoiler and smashed the record.

What he did was buy a carbon fibre WRC bodykit from M-sport, then build his own car from scratch(space frame chassis) for the bodykit to fit to. So it's not a WRC car although it will probably use some bits that are WRC spec. The cosworth engine sits right back in the engine bay, just like a WRC car but everything is his own design.
Full details and photos of the build, from start to finish can be found here - Andy gallachers focus!Good luck at croft - PassionFord
