Avi, could be a postcode lottery, but I had a few frozen off at the GPs - nurse just connects up some utensil to the ?liquid oxygen bottle and touches the mole for 10 seconds. It dies and drops off about 2 weeks later. Sometimes you need 2-3 attempts to get it flush. When I was in Sussex it was easy and free. When I moved to Reigate they said they were far too busy to do that kind of thing and it would have to be on referral by specialist appointment

Got mine done as I have crappy fair skin and am terrified of skin cancer. I got the impression that the NHS do this in order to avoid skin cancer claims later. OTOH, moles are benign tumours and aggravating them by freezing can make them malignant... yada yada...
