When I was learning my instructor was telling me about the girl we were just going to pick up for her lesson. Warned me that she wasn't very good !
He got out of the car - I got into the back and the luckless trainee & trainer return. She gets comfy in the seat and gets ready for "lift off". Seat belt on, checks the rear-view mirror, turns round to check there's nothing in the blind spot and makes her move. Edging off the clutch and nursing the accelerator she's starting to get a little curious as to why we aint moving when the Instructor leans over and says "Would you like to start the engine now ms X"
Mind You - I wish she hadn't started the engine - she didn't seem to understand what speed limits were !
