Couple of mates who were in the Marines bought themselves bikes to play with while on leave. An R1 and a 916, they could both ride but were not legal as neither had licenses
the guy with the R1 was really good he had ridden motocross and done track days for years, the guy with the 916 was not so good, always running wide and shuffling backwards out of hedges! Anyway they both decide it's been long enough dodging the law and put in for their test. Guy with the 916 passed 1st time, guy with the R1 failed. When the examiner told R1 guy he hadn't passed, R1 guy was so enraged he did three stand up donuts round the examiner with him not knowing which way to run, before popping straight up on the back wheel and wheelieing (sp?) through the box into the distance
He never took his bike test again, but has I'm glad to say given up riding on the road.
Sisters boyfriends dad is a motor bike instructor.
