Yep, the Radio Key you're describing sounds like an AC38 (or the Subaru badged equivelent), so provided that you have a keypad with the * and # icons in the top right hand corner, then this sequence should work to teach Radio Keys.

Are you aware that you can re-set your PIN?
Provided you have a working Radio Key and can disarm the system, carry out the following:
- Arm and then Disarm the system using a working Radio Key.
- Within 30 seconds of disarming, type into the keypad- *17856*92*wxyz*wxyz# (where wxyz is your new PIN code)
- Arm the system with the Radio Key
- You should now be able to disarm the system using the new PIN code

For anyone else reading this post, the sequences described inthis post will only work on the M-series range and Subaru systems. Earlier Sigma ranges such as the SG range can only be programmed with a dealer programmer and the latest S-series range requires the use of different numbers.
