Yep, a foot in the door.... maybe even a SHE related job, although in reality you should expect it to be looked at as a bolt on to your current skills rather than a stand alone function.

It's 12 weeks (1 day a week) and gives you an opportunity to sit next to a fit bird (if you can) and look down her top for 7 hours a day!

Once you have it (and get a new job) people will then expect you to do loads of extra SHE related work for no additional reward, everyone will hate you as you stop them doing a job quickly and easily (as you make them now do it safely and it takes 10 times longer) and when someone gets hurt you're first in line for the investigation that follows (your risk assessment!)!...

So go ahead and do it.... but try and avoid having to use it

DCI IOSH MS, NEBOSH and a load of other SHE training sh1te....
