I did my NEBOSH General Certificate 9 or 10 years ago. It's pretty much as others have said and pub lunch makes for a sleepy afternoon. Also had the fit bird sat next to me (took her out for a drink after the course too, but didn't get anywhere...)
IOSH MS was much easier; more interesting too... the guy the took that course had loads of tales to tell that made the course seem more relevant to the real world.
I've been trying to talk my boss into paying for my doing the NEBOSH Diploma, but haven't had much luck with that yet.
30 hours a week? I could live with that.
