Just joined to comment on this. I took my NEBOSH exams on Friday after 3 weeks of intensive tutoring. There was a number of times during the course that I wanted to give up as I just didn't feel like I was going to retain everything you need to learn, however having now finished it I am pleased I did it and I feel already that I have benefited from it, as have my work.

The Certificate isn't easy unless you have a basic knowledge of Health and Safety, an ounce of common sense, understand the law and are able to write. That might seem a strange thing to say but I have colleagues here that have failed because they can't put into written format what they want to say and NEBOSH mark you down for simply answering the question as a Statement if they have asked for an Outline answer - odd I know!

So do the course as it is a recognised standard but be prepared to work hard.
