OK, I live in a pretty depressed town in the chavvy north, BUT:
When I went away in summer, I had five weeks, almost, in France. During that time, I went to quite a few large towns and cities.
I DID see a few beggars on the streets of the cities, mostly Romany-looking types.
I DID NOT see:
One single woman/girl with humongous tattoos, tattooed shaved ankles etc
Any woman massively overweight.......the ones that were pear shaped were Brits
Any teenaged girls pushing pushchairs or carrying babies.
Any women dressed head to toe as Muslim.
Women dressed
dirtily, ie: in scruffy, dirty clothes.
Teenagers hanging about on street corners.
Are British women ugly? Maybe, maybe not, but they sure as hell don't help themselves in the attractiveness stakes
