Cheers again mate thats a great help The cars a manual, we got it from the car people 2 years ago today, think its only got 20 odd k miles on it.

The guy I spoke to I trust but not sure on his advise this time so will deff get a second opinion. As it may be a manufacture issue I think I'll call the car people and see what they say. Always hated Fiats but this car had good reviews and looks good def wont be getting Fiat again, was told it has the same gearbox as the old models f 'd known that I wouldn't have got it.
