Do get the gearbox oil level topped up ASAP!
It is confusing as I trust theses guys, they've saved me a lot of money with my scoob over the years. I really cant see how it can be dead or on its way out if the gears change ok, odd. I've got details of a local place another member gave me, will give em a call on Monday. Will have to drive my girlfriend to work and back for now dont want her driving my scoob and the fiat will stay put till I know whats going on.

Thanks a lot for the advice and info, got to love this forum.
