Default gb270 boost .

Hi all ive just bought a gb270 does any 1 no what boost this should run as stock . It has the x3gauages and says 5psi for boost ?? Seems low to me .

In the region of 12- 13 psi about .9 bar.

Ummm somethings wrong then . It was hitting 15 psi at 1 point . Then I noticed its not goin above 5psi

First thing to check is the gauge. some cheaper ones are crap.

does it feel slower? i would imagine if it was genuinely boosting at 15psi and now at 5 you would feel a massive difference.

You are driving it and not revving it in neutral arn`t you as that wont show boost as there is no load on the engine

Yes im driveing it lol . Might be the pipe to the guage . Yes it feels slow but ive just come from a 500 bhp evo 6 . So might be me .

Could be pulling ignition also mines used to do this

if you keep the foot down flat will it slowly get more boost after a few times?

If I take the pipe off the actuator and block the pipe up it hit 18 psi . So I think the actuator is no good.
