Default Tein Superstreet Coilovers - VGC - £350

I'd like to offer for sale a set of Tein Superstreet Coilovers recently removed from my version 6 Type R having covered just 15k, the vast majority of which we're dry miles.

Since removal (by Glen at Carnetix) I’ve spent a good hour and a half degreasing the coilovers with Bilt Hamber Surfex HD and they’ve also had a good scrub down with soapy water and a rinse too so you can get a good idea of what sort of condition they are in. They’re actually in much better condition than I thought they’d be! The springs are like new and all threads are good. The rust that you can see on them is just surface rust where they’ve been exposed to the elements. I was advised by Glen on Friday (4th April) that the bearings in the top mounts are good and all of the adjustability for damping/spring height is working as it should. There were also no knocks, leaks or nasty bangs when running these on my car.

They have all of the mounting hardware with them, this includes the nuts to mount the top mounts to the strut towers and the bolts/nuts/washers to mount the struts to the hubs. As an added bonus they come complete with helper springs, adjustable pillow ball top mounts on the front and adjustable camber bolts for the front and rear. The rear camber bolts were a nice surprise! The only thing I don't have is the 'C' scanners to adjust the spring platforms so if you wanted to alter ride height immediately you'd need to source those. For info the coilovers were previously set up at Powerstation and ride height was set to appoximately standard P1 height which was perfect for the road really.

I’m asking £350 for these which to be honest is a bit of a bargain really based on the condition of them. This price would be for collection from NG31 (Grantham), just off the A1. I'd be happy to pack and post but this would be at extra cost via UPS, fully insured and tracked. I can get a price based on your postcode.

Thanks for looking and apologies for all the words

Paul.

Yeah probably mate

I'd rather take a figure I'm happy with though than hold out for top dollar and get fed up tripping over them!

Cheers,

Paul.
