How much would garage sell it for, how much you would get pvt if selling it on here and is it forged or not? Update with some of that info mate as forged one will get good few more bucks than one not.

Ignore the HG haters, just be prepared for when/if it does go. If you are happy buying a car with the knowledge the engine may need sorting in the future ( as i did ), then take it for a test drive and do it.
Yes the 2.5's have been reported to fail, but how many are there about that haven't failed ? mines on 67k and hasn't failed, i'm prepared if it does but for now i'm just enjoying the car.

Its not the 330S that have engine faults, its the hatchback 2.5STI especially that have piston ringland issues.

If you potter about in it then fine, if you drive it hard then it will fail.
It not about HG haters, in fact its not about haters.
I myself had a 330S (from new), but thankfully we parted company sometime ago

thats not a 330s car!!
Keyless entry + push button start and Recaro's are 330s stardard parts.. along with the satnav/dvd player, rear tints.
looking at the extra's spent... why didn't the guy buy a 330s in the first place... would have been cheaper than buying the STi then adding to that. lol
