Default Scooby 921 spacers for strut change

I found these a while back in my bits and now realise what their for (forgot I had bought 2 sets)

I imported them from the states at a silly price delivered.

They are basically washers/spacers that sit on the shoulder of the strut for rears if you are putting 2003-04 struts onto a 2004-07 car.

The fronts go on fine but the rears have a slight gap where you WILL get knocking and clunking if you have done the swap.

Here's a link to the exact place I got them from http://www.fastwrx.com/products/tic-...-strut-spacers

Can add photo but it's only 2 special washer/spacers designed for this upgrade.

£15 delivered for the pair.

Hi, it's normally changing older newage shocks onto newer car afaik as the shoulders on the older shocks like bugs are different and have a slight gap.
Did you fit them yourself? And did you notice a space where it's not seated correctly on the top mount to shock?

I had them as I got some bugeye jdm shocks and put them on a 55 plate blob if that helps.
I'll try find some pics for you to see difference.

Just re-read, you have put blobeye 'coilovers' on a bug? I would assume you need bugeye top mounts.

Bit of info here, see 2nd picture where the strut has a shoulder which the 921 spacer cures for the top mount to sit correctly.

P.s provisionally sold pending payment.
