Default 17's or 18's for handling?

I might be needing some new tyres shortly so now's the time to consider some after market alloys. Is there any difference in handling between the two sizes?

IMHO It's down to tyres really !

R888's on 17" wheels will out perform anything but R888's on 18" !

LOL

Seriously I went to ultralight 19" and wider tyres, the grip is superb, whilst the ride quality is little worse.

HTH

Agree with dunx,it's the tyres that make the difference.

Recently went from RE070's to Michelin PS2 (on 17's) much reduced grip but with much less harshness. TBH thinking of getting a new set of 070's now!
