V4 Sti tuned parts for sale
I have decided to get rid of the potential beast that is my car, this I hope to be a short term solution but for the time being it needs to go, I have had enough of all the problems I seem to encounter with it, I have lost my enthusiasm for it.
I will break it so all the good parts will be available, some bits will be on an exchange basis so I can keep the car mobile etc.
The list is as follows:
Fully Forged 2.5 Short block, Mahle pistons, Carillo K1 rods, new std Subaru crank, 14mm RCMS WRC head stud conversion, top hat super thick liners - it has all been dynamically balanced and runs smooth as a babys..barely run it at only 1400 miles - £2,200
Sti V4 heads, gas flowed, 3 angle valve seats, 14mm stud conversion, inc all Sti V4 valve train £400
HardRace engine/GB mount kit - £70 - Prov Sold
18" wheels x4 - 5x100 pcd with x 2 new Falken 452 tyres and 2 older Fulder tyres but good tread depth - £250 (could do with a refurb really) + your old wheels (16" at least)
The rest of the car will then be put back to std and sold on at a later date.
Let me know what you think guys n gals, make an offer!!!!
Prices do not include postage - this will be quoted once a price for what you want has been agreed.

I know mate, thanks but I just want rid now and I shall start again but not get carried away next time, I will be looking for a Spec C in the new year i think lol
The block will be a steal at that price as well, you will not get a linered 2.5 with forged everything that has been dynamicaly balanced for anywhere near that, it should be good for 2+ bar easy so 600bhp I recon it will be safe for

I guess it will be dependant on the turbo, heads and valve train that you use. I have ported and polished Sti V4 heads on it,a bigger turbo and with the std valve train so it should have been good for decent power all the way to 8k,
2.5's do have a big of a reputation for not revving very well but this has been dynamically balanced and has fantastic response even off boost!!!
