Default PS3 40GB (faulty)

Has stopped reading discs, everything else ok, comes with all cables and controller.

Apparently its an easy fix with a new blu-ray lense or something but i'm not exactly technically minded... so i bought a new one

They seem to sell on ebay so thought i would try on here. Hows £65 delivered?

Unfortunately its about 16 months old = 4 months past the warranty date. They want £149 to fix it and give me a 3 month warranty. Bloody Sony

Hmmm tempting. I shouldn't really start another project. Fancy swapping it for an OMP bucket seat in blue?

Does it have a subframe? If so, may be interested

Certainly does, and an extra frame check it out here: https://www.scoobynet.com/private-sa...ing-frame.html
But I can take that off and leave it if you don't want it.

Ahh.. i PM'd you about that one a little while ago - I need one that is near mint and with a sliding subframe unfortunately

You're not far away to come pick it up though, could knock a bit off for pickup

Oh yeah I remember now. It has got a sliding subframe. And you can get the seats new without subframes for 120. Edit, meant 190.
I don't really need a PS3, so not looking to buy one. But if you change your mind about the swap, let me know.
cheers
