Default Breaking WR1

Recently broke a WR1 for an ABZ Scoobs member so plenty of bits available. 42K mileage and was in EXCELLENT health prior to it's "excursion"

Prodrive STi Top Mounts - £50
STi TMIC (VGC)- £160
Inlet Manifold - £50
A/C Compressor - £10
STi "Pink" Injectors - £145
Various engine sensors/pipework £POA
Headers/uppipe - £30

PM bob wrx about any of the above - offers close to asking price are invited

That short block is bloody cheap, have seen them going for £800

is the boost solenoid aftermarket? prodrive or something? or standard? are u willing to post items?

Boost solenoid is the oe subaru 3-port. Ideal upgrade from the oe 2-port.

so a 2002 wrx would come with a 2 port? what diff does a 3port make? can it enable you to run higher boost?

The 3-port is a special Prodrive item and isn't lke the old Subaru 3-port solenoid, it's a whole different design.

Moley - all we need is £550 on the engine as it's just a short block and people seem to be over inflating the price of these blocks................. any more is a bonus

my94wrx - sorry m8, that's all staying with the steering wheel, etc

Ah my bad. I just presumed the 3-port would be the oe style one.

Sounds like a bargain for someone though!!!

I'd say the selling price is realistic for a quick sale. When my newage rex spun a shell I looked at this exact option as I wanted to fit the stronger semi closed deck block and price was between £600 - £700.
I opted to go to the top end of that and picked up a spec-C item

the boost solenoid come with the plug on the end to plug straight into loom in place of the standard one? whats best price u'd take?

how much posted for the BARE tailgate? dont want spoiler, latch, lock badges etc just the lid to birmingham? thanks, steve

Completely agree, but when i was looking for one recently they were going for £1200+ inc heads, or £800+ for the block alone.

Frayz was selling a STI 7 block for £550, and could have sold it several times over in the first hour.

MAF went to a WR1 owner up here..... just decided to buy it when he picked up the wheels this afternoon........... as a "spare"
