Cheers Duncan.
The 3-port is a special Prodrive item and isn't lke the old Subaru 3-port solenoid, it's a whole different design.
Moley - all we need is £550 on the engine as it's just a short block and people seem to be over inflating the price of these blocks................. any more is a bonus
my94wrx - sorry m8, that's all staying with the steering wheel, etc

Ah my bad. I just presumed the 3-port would be the oe style one.
Sounds like a bargain for someone though!!!

I'd say the selling price is realistic for a quick sale. When my newage rex spun a shell I looked at this exact option as I wanted to fit the stronger semi closed deck block and price was between £600 - £700.
I opted to go to the top end of that and picked up a spec-C item

Completely agree, but when i was looking for one recently they were going for £1200+ inc heads, or £800+ for the block alone.
Frayz was selling a STI 7 block for £550, and could have sold it several times over in the first hour.
Another free BTTT
