Custom made Subaru specific catch cans (Group buy no.4)
After the success of three group buys I have had requests to do another.
See thread no.1 https://www.scoobynet.com/group-buys...atch-cans.html
And thread covering GB 2 and 3 - https://www.scoobynet.com/group-buys...-cans-2-a.html
I originally had one made previously for my race car as the general market forgets about us Subaru boys needing 3 inlets rather than just 1 or 2. I am sure you have seen the RCM ones at £175+ !
It's certainly not cheap to get one made to the standard I wanted, however I was chatting with my supplier and he said he would be more than happy to do a batch at reduced costs if I would handle everything.
So spec is a 1 litre can with three 10mm inlets and one 25mm outlet. And a drain plug, there is then the option of a -10 AN fitting to return to sump if required.
We all know what the benefits are I am sure by getting rid of engine vapour, reducing crankcase pressure and by removing that vapour your not reducing the octane value of your fuel.
Heres a few pics of the one I have now unfitted.
Here's a pic of my other one I fitted on the passenger side suspension turret where it fits very neatly
Here's the fitting guide -
Pipes on cam cover breathers -
Main engine breather here, you will see 2 pipes. Really you want to block off one and then run a pipe from here to the can
Three pipes in to the can
Then breather pipe from top of the can
Costs if there is demand for 10 minimum
£70 Can only
£80 Can with -10 AN Drain
£10 extra to include pipework
Get your names down with what you want

Free bump for a quality bit of kit. I have the first edition on my car and got a mate the brushed version both top quality. There was an offering on here of a copy at £25, after seeing the cheaper version for myself recently its clear to see why the were £25. Difference was night and day.
Will post a pic later of one fitted to a newage.
