Whiteline 22mm Rear ARB/Alloy Links REDUCED!!
REDUCED TO £100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got an Adjustable Whiteline rear 22mm anti roll bar complete with a set of alloy droplinks that I no longer need.
I bought this a while ago for my UK wagon but am selling the car on so don't need it anymore.
As many of us know..these are a great bit of kit and transform the handling of a classic Impreza when coupled with a decent set of alloy droplinks, poly bushes and a good geometry setup.
As anyone who has fitted one of these will know..the Whiteline bars do suffer from surface corrosion due to the factory silver paint not being the best which is why they often end up looking like this.
Of course this does not effect the performance in any way and is easily remedied with either a quick rub down and re-paint with Hammerite or alike or a proffesional re-paint or powder-coat.
I planned to do this prior to fitting but as I no longer need it I'm not going to bother.
I'm not sure what make the alloy droplinks are but they are solid ones so are good quality.
The poly bushes seem to be the yellow ones on the bar mounts and purple ones on the links.
£70 for the bar
£35 for the links
Total of £105 for the lot including the bushes for a cash on collection sale.
The ARB on the current groupbuy is £133 and the links would probably be around £75 new so around £210 new!!
..So a decent saving.
Collection is from Harrow in London or can arrange postage and packing at additional cost but would have to get a price on this for you. :thumb

My worry is that the bar is really scruffy and will need to be totally stripped, possibly plated and certainly repainted/powder coated to avoid the corrosion from coming back and that ain't cheep, especially if you're paying someone else to do it.

Plus the bushings etc.
Depends how far you want to go with re-painting it really..I was just planning on rubbing it down myself and getting rid of most of the loose corrosion and then giving it a few coats of Hammerite Direct to Rust paint which I have used before has come's up great.
At the end of the day it's a part that's under the car and will get cakked in muck anyhow so as long as it's doing it's job...I'm not too bothered as the car it was going onto was a daily driver.
Of course if you want a mint looking item for a show car etc then It would be best just to buy a brand new one but this would only corrode after time anyway as the origional paint is known for this.
So if your planning on tidying it up yourself for a the cost of a can of paint and a few hours graft then I would say it's a really good saving over buying a brand new item which would be a total of around £190 for the ARB and links.
To knock a little more off and give someone a deal...I can let it all go for £90 which I think is a fair price

Well the cheapest you csan buy the ARB for at the momment is the groupbuy from Indigo and it's £135 plus delivery.
The droplinks are around £55 new.
Plus the bushings etc.
Depends how far you want to go with re-painting it really..I was just planning on rubbing it down myself and getting rid of most of the loose corrosion and then giving it a few coats of Hammerite Direct to Rust paint which I have used before has come's up great.
