Hiya mate, Its off a JDM STI Hatchback.

Lets just say the car was standard when I first so it, and decided I would buy the turbo....

When I collected the turbo from them it was removed and progress on the car it was removed from had been dramatic

I believe there capable of 380bhp give or take, but not actual using one I can't comment exactly. I think the torque from these is quite genourous.

Sorry cant comment for sure, as I only know that the VF49 N15 was used in rallying, so the bhp was usual WRC spec, yet the torque is very high with early spool, not sure how that compared with the 48.

Yes buddy. Used in the hatch from 08 I think. Usually fitted with 34mm restrictor for rallying.

Hi Graham.

Your 2008 WRX should have a glorified TD04 which are single scroll. You would need to change a few things to fit this being twin scroll.

Cracking turbo though for a specific OEM unit

Cheers Steve. Let me know how you get on, get that intake pipe upgraded, and get a splash of meth added too

Had a quick search on here for you for an intake, but I've not seen anything still for sale, but there are decent ones on fleabay.
