294mm grooved discs and kevlar pads £99.99
We are currently offering our very popular 294mm grooved discs with black painted centres and our kevlar fast road pads at an UNBEATABLE price of £99.99 a pair including VAT !!
The 294mm discs are fitted to the front of all Impreza's with the Subaru embossed four pot calipers , if you see the word SUBARU on the outer face of your front calipers , then these are the discs for you , mostly seen on later classic's and also 2001 onwards WRX's. , but a lot of early cars have been changed , if your unsure , please ring me on 01656 723060 and I can advise.
Being the most popular discs on Subaru's our discs need no introduction , top quality blanks CNC machined to our own designs that work , we machine 6 curved grooves into each face to disperse gases and debris , the optimum number as we have found over the years , more grooves will take away too much braking surface and will have a negative effect on braking , more grooves will also wear your pads faster.
We see others claiming that you don't need grooved discs as standard discs will do , they don't ! The main reason for having grooved discs is to disperse the gases given off the pads when they get hot , the gases push the pads off the discs causing brake fade , grooves will disperse the gases and stop this happening , a plain disc will not do this.
All our discs come with a 12 month guarantee against warping even if you do track days
Check out our feedback , we are the highest ranking braking specialist on here , all our feedback is from brake sales , we don't sell bulbs , and don't get feedback from giving away gimmicks
We can take all major debit and credit cards over the phone on 01656 723060 , we take paypal
Buy online here

Next day P&P to a mainland UK address is £12.50 , North and South Ireland is £19.50 , check our rates for the rest of the world.

We only offer grooved only discs , not drilled , drilled discs are too unreliable and crack with spirited driving , if you drill through the grain structure you weaken them , which can cause cracking around the holes which then crack across the disc face.
Typical cracking on a drilled disc
A google search will bring up plenty of info of disc cracking .
Even wikipedia knows about drilled discs cracking , this is what they say
Cracking
Cracking is limited mostly to drilled discs, which may develop small cracks around edges of holes drilled near the edge of the disc due to the disc's uneven rate of expansion in severe duty environments. Manufacturers that use drilled discs as OEM typically do so for two reasons: appearance, if they determine that the average owner of the vehicle model will prefer the look while not overly stressing the hardware; or as a function of reducing the unsprung weight of the brake assembly, with the engineering assumption that enough brake disc mass remains to absorb racing temperatures and stresses. A brake disc is a heat sink, but the loss of heat sink mass may be balanced by increased surface area to radiate away heat. Small hairline cracks may appear in any cross drilled metal disc as a normal wear mechanism, but in the severe case the disc will fail catastrophically. No repair is possible for the cracks, and if cracking becomes severe, the disc must be replaced.
Even top end named drilled discs crack around the holes.
For reliability , a grooved disc is much more reliable , under the most extreme conditions such as very hard track use or motorsport use , all discs can end up cracking , but nothing as bad or as easy as a drilled disc will.

Just had a look, no Subaru on them, they fit well under the stock 16" wheels. Take it that it's the 277mm ones I need? If so how much front and rear grooved with some pads to used for fast road and a occasional track days (cars 99% stock so not overly fast)
Cheers

Hi Ian,
Similiar requirements to Stevie I think...
'94 Wagon WRX SA with all original bits so guessing it will also be 277mm vented up front and solid 266mm on the rear?
Best price for all four disks and pads would be much appreciated
Cheers,
Phil

I can supply you front 294mm grooved discs and 290mm rear WRX grooved discs for £160 plus £12.50 P&P
The grooved front and rears and kevlar pads would be £185 , or the higher spec pads suitable for track days as above
Cheers Ian
