Kenwood DNX5220 Touchscreen Double Din Cd/Dvd with iPod/iPhone control
Hi,
I have the above up for sale. I bought it 18 months ago and fitted it to my Hawkeye Wagon. I bought it to a) improve on the terrible factory fitted unit in all scoobs , and b) to play and control the songs on my iPhone while charging it up too.
It is a Kenwood DNX5220 Touchscreen Double Din FM/CD player/ Dvd Player/ full iPod control ( I used my iPhone 4S ) to access all my albums/tracks etc.
PLEASE NOTE THIS MODEL DOES NOT HAVE BUILT IN SAT-NAV.
IT WAS AN ADD-ON (LIKE THE REAR-VIEW CAMERA ETC ) AND COST £400 TO ADD ON SO DID NOT BUY IT.
It plays perfectly Cds and Dvds in the proper aspect ratio , and also has a lead to plug a USB stick to play movies/mp3s as well. I believe it has built in Bluetooth and microphone but I never used it as my car had a Parrot system fitted.
The touchscreen is really nice to work with and is not one of those cheap import jobs. This has superb sound and is a quality Kenwood product.
The full spec of it is here:
http://www.kenwood-electronics.co.uk/products/car/navigation/all_in_one/DNX5220BT/details/
This is the only picture I have of it working in my car:
And off the web here:
I will also include the ISO cables for Subaru so that it is just a simple swap over.
I am after £250 plus postage for it .. it cost well over double that and I know that this is a great sounding and looking unit that works well with the iPhone 4 and 4S ( not sure about the 5 but I don't see why it shouldn't as it uses the same iPhone connection at the base ) .
The only reason for the sale is I had to sell my scoob
Any questions please ask or PM me.
Cheers,
Steve
